| Youth burns self to death | | | Jammu: A youth burnt himself to death under mysterious circumstances at his residence here Saturday night.
Identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Janak Raj, he hailed from Rajiv Nagar.
Police sources said he was admitted by his family to the GMC hospital after he sustained severe burns at his residence late last night.
He later succumbed to his injuries. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family for last rights. Police had registered a case in this connection. Meanwhile, Rajni, daughter of Angrez Singh of Manga Chak, Samba, who was admitted to the GMC hospital with serious burns on January 15 last, died today. Her body too was handed over to her family for last rites after post-mortem.
Cases in this connection stand registered at the concerned police. |
