| Lt Gen KT Parnaik visits Uri and Baramulla | | | SRINAGAR: Lt Gen KT Parnaik, GOC-in-C Northern Command visited Uri sector and Baramulla here today.
The Army Commander, accompanied by Lt Gen SA Hasnain, GOC Chinar Corps, interacted with senior officers in both the places and was briefed about the prevailing security situation and also the operational readiness of the troops.
The Army Commander concluded his three day visit to the Kashmir valley and was seen off by Lt Gen SA Hasnain, at BB Cantt, said a Srinagar based defence Spokesman. |
