Omar has double speak policy on youth: Tripathi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 23: As the entire hierarchy of BJP and BJYM is gearing up for final 'countdown' for the upcoming Ekta Yatra, national secretary of the party and co incharge BJYM for J&K Vani Tripathi accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of 'double speak' approach towards youth and their zeal for the interests of the nation. "Two years back it was the same Omar Abdullah who was chosen by overwhelming majority by the youth of the state for he made promises and assured that he would change their fortunes and it is the youth who shall remain priority of his government", Vani Tripathi , who reached Jammu today in connection with overseeing Yatra arrangements said. But only a year after it were the youth of the state who turned tables by resorting to stone pelting for months…..probably they realized Omar could not keep his word on their welfare and addressing their problems", the BJP leader said. Commenting on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's stand on Ekta Yatra the BJP leader said it was not only unfortunate but regrettable that he chose to stop the youth force who only wish to become a part of nationalistic movement." Omar's stand and the stringent measures his government is adopting have only exposed his double speak and hollow approach towards youth", she added. |
