| Income tax of Rs. 2.57 cr realized | | | Jammu, Nov 09
The income tax department has realized an income tax to the tune of Rs. 2.57 crore from various parties in the state during the last financial year.
This was stated by Commissioner, Income Tax, Virender Singh in an awareness- cum-interaction camp organized for Drawing and Disbursing officers at Kupwara today.
The programme was inaugurated by the District Development Commissioner, Kupwara Mr. Abdul Majeed Khanday and attended by all Drawing and Disbursing Officer’s of the district.
The Drawing District Officers were acquainted with various aspects of calculating and deducting of income tax and submission of tax returns.
Additional Commissioner Income Tax Range Srinagar was also present. |
