| BJYM flays Omar’s statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Jan 24; Criticising the statement of Omar Abdullah that the "Rashtriya Ekta Yatra" will not be allowed, Bhartiya Janta Youth Morcha district vice president advocate Sunny Mahajan
today said that the BJYM has undertaken this yatra to imbibe the feeling of patriotism and nationalism in the youth.
Coming down heavily on the PM for his statement that the Tiranga Yatra will disturb the atmosphere of kashmir valley, Mahajan said that issuing such anti-national statements, PM was supporting the anti-national & separatist forces. Mahajan further said that it
was a matter of concern that the Central and State governments are trying to create tension in whole of the country by giving such unacceptable statements.
Speaking on the occassion, Jyoti Sharma, District General secretary, BJYM said that no power on earth can stop the BJYM activists from hoisting the national flag at Lal Chowk. Sharma said that for the last one week, separatist leader Yasin malik is protesting at Lal Chowk, but he has not been arrested as yet.
Instead, the BJP activists were arrested by the JKP which is highly condemnable. Sharma said that the yatra will continue to march towards & a large number of youth activists from Udhampur will be taking part in this Yatra.
Youth leader Sourab Pachiala was also present.
