SDP supports Ekta Yatra, says will strengthen nationalist forces | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan, 24: Amid opposition from many quarters to the Ekta Yatra of the BJP, Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) has welcomed the plan to hoist the national flag at Lal Chowk. Addressing a press conference, SDP president Darakhshan Andrabi said that when the Constitution of the India allows every citizen to unfurl flag in any part of the country why is this right being denied to the people. She said that it was unfortunate to see the symbol of national dignity being dragged in for dirty politics. Andrabi said that a handful of politicians and sponsored minds speak against it and they are trying to appease some elements. She said that it is time for all the nationalists to join hands and defeat the design forces hell bent to pursue the agenda of the separatist elements in the state. Andrabi lashed out at the Omar Abdullah led government for pursuing the agenda of the anti-national elements who have taken people of the state on ransom. Other prominent who were present on the occasion state vice president Abhay Singh Wazir, Ajay Sharma, Gursagar Singh, and Munish Kumar.
