| Full dress rehearsal conducted on R-Day eve | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 24 : A colorful full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day celebration was conducted with fanfare amid security in this winter capital of the state.
Hundreds of school students attired in traditional dresses besides security personnel participated in the Republic Day function rehearsal with fanfare.
School students performed 'Bharatanatyam' and also presented cultural programmes while dare devils team of Jammu and Kashmir Police Department displayed spellbound acts.
Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda who was the chief guest on the occasion, took salute to the contingents.
However, Jammu city came to a standstill with long traffic jam due to the full dress rehearsal as the barricades were raised around the venue in the wake of the security threats.
