| PEEU lists various demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 24: Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU) has said that it will continue its struggle for the fulfillment of various demands of PDD employees.
Addressing a press conference here today, the Provincial President of Union PC Sharma and District President Kathua Davinder Sharma said that to achieve our goals we held series of meetings with the authorities concerned besides Chief Minister.
They demanded the serious intervention of the CM for the permanent solution of long pending demands which include retrospective effect to the already regularized daily wagers from the date they were due for regularization in terms of SRO 64 of 1994, Implementation of SRO 59 as done in Srinagar, Risk allowance to the employees working in a risk prone areas and provision of safety tools and implementations to PDD employees with total estimating cost of Rs. 1 crore, regularization of all the daily wagers engaged after 1994.
