Sangram Sena demands jobs for protesting physios | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 24: Sangram Sena J&K has demanded the absorption of agitating unemployed Physiotherapists in government jobs without any further delay. The demand was raised during a meeting of the Sena, which was held today under the chairmanship of its president Ram Rattan Raina. The executive body members of the Sena and the representatives of unemployed Physiotherapists sitting on Dharna were present in the meeting. During the meeting it was observed that the demand of physiotherapists who are unemployed is genuine which include appointment as Physiotherapy Medical Officer, separate State Physiotherapy council for regulation of Physiotherapy Education standards and Physiotherapy professional norms, Re-opening of Govt Physiotherapy College, Creation of posts, Separate Physiotherapy Hospital etc While addressing the meeting Ram Rattan Raina said that it is quite unfortunate that Physiotherapists after getting training are sitting without any jobs. He urged and appealed the Chief Minister and Health Minister to look into the burning demands and grievances of the unemployed Physiotherapists.
