| ACS caught ration dealer red handed duping customers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 24: A government ration dealer was caught red handed here at Parliband
Kathua by the activists of Anti Corruption Society (ACS).
Addressing a press conference state president ACS Hatinder Manhotra and Chairman Kulbushan Khajuria said that the salesman caught red handed by the team of ‘Anti Corruption Society’ on a complaint which was registered by the people of the area as they alleged that the quantity of ration provided to them is being plundered by the dealer.
They said that after the complaint, the society checked the weight of the sold commodities to the people by the depot dealer and it was found that quantity was less than the quota allotted to the customers.
The salesman was picked up and produced before District Development
Commissioner, for which she assured an adequate enquiry would be conducted in this matter of loot and cheat by the dealer of the government depot.
