RAJOURI, Jan 24: In order to curb the menace of illegal distillation and sale of liquor, squad of Excise Range, Rajouri led by Inspector Excise under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer, Rajouri-Poonch Range, Afaq Ahmed conducted series of raids at village Dalhori, Argi- Potha, Saranu, Danghri, Baljerallian, Katharian and Panjpeer areas of Rajouri district. During the raid five persons were arrested and booked under Excise Act and 420 kg of lahan, 85 kg pomegranate cover, and 160 liters of illicit liquor was destroyed on spot.’
