Govt adopting anti-employees’ attitude, alleges UBEA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 25: Udyog Bhawan Employees Association (UBEA) Jammu has alleged that state government is adopting anti-employees’ attitude and delaying tactics in fulfilling its commitments made earlier with the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) leaders. In a meeting of UBEA held today under the presidentship of chairman of the Association Ravi Singh Bhau and president Surjeet Singh. While addressing the meeting Ravi Singh Bhau criticized state government for its failure to concede the demands of the employees. The association demanded immediate release of arrears of 6th pay commission in favour of State government, Public Sector employees in two or three installments in cash, Removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and other cadres, Implementation of 6th pay commission in favour of remaining Public sector organizations by providing additional budgetary support to all PSU's, Release of 10% DA due from July 2010, regularization of' all adhoc contractual and daily rated workers and enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years. While addressing the meeting Surjeet Singh rejected the government order No: 07- of 2011 dated: - 18-01-2011 for payment of arrears of 6th Pay Commission to the State Govt. Employees/ Public Sector Employees which is not in line with earlier commitment. The meeting unanimously decided to support dharna announced by JCC on February 1 in front of Civil Secretariat.
