| Shinde to launch PCC mass contact prog | | | JAMMU: Senior Congress leader and union power minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was scheduled to launch PCC's statewide 'mass contact prograame' here on January 30.
The launching of this much-awaited Congress programme would take place in a function at Lower Roop Nagar, Muthi.
While Shinde was scheduled to be the chief guest, PCC president and Congress veteran Saifudin Soz would preside over the function which would be attended by senior state Congress leaders, including MLC and party spokesperson Ravinder Sharma.
Shinde was deputed to attend the function by the Congress high command.
As per the mass contact programme, functions would be held in every assembly segment of the state to apprise the people of the party policies and its pro-common man approach.
The idea behind holding these functions was also to strengthen the party at grassroot level.
