| One commits suicide, two made abortive bids | | | JAMMU: In different cases, while a man allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison, two others, including a girl, made abortive bids on their lives. Police sources said Romesh Kumar of Mandir Wali Gali, Nai Basti, swallowed poison at his residence last night.
He was evacuated by his family to the GMC hospital where he later died. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites. Suman Choudhary of RS Pura and Rishu of Shakti Nagar also allegedly consumed poison at their respective residences. They were admitted by their families to the GMC hospital where their condition was stated to be critical. Police had registered cases in this connection. |
