| GHSS Barolla celebrates R-Day | | |

JAMMU, Jan 26: Government Higher Secondary School Barolla in Udhampur celebrated 62nd Republic Day with fervor and gaiety. Retired Master, Lala Des Raj unfurled the National tricolour and took salute of the march past presented by contingent of NCC and others. Earlier, Principal J R Bhardwaj presented detailed report of the achievements and development work done in the field of academic, sports, NCC, science and other outdoor activities by the institution. Students performed various items such as skits, folkdances, group songs and physical displays under the guidance of Master Sagar Chand, Ravinder Manhas and Vinod Khajuria.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest lauded the contribution made by Principal, staff and cooperation drawn from local citizens for welfare activities for the students. Vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Sarita Gupta. Mushtaq Ahamed (Master) conducted the programme.
