| Latiyar deputation meets Deputy Commissioner | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 27: A deputation from Latiyar village under the leadership of BJP State Vice-President Pawan Gupta today called on Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur & apprised him of various problems being faced by the local people.
While speaking on the occassion, Pawan Gupta said that the people of Latiyar are facing lot of hardships due to non-availability of ration in the area. He said that in the recent past, number of deputations in this regard has met the DC & on the instructions of DC, AD Food was directed to provide proper ration supply to the local residents.
But due to the interference to local MLA, the supply of ration has been stopped which is highly condemnable. Pawan Gupta further said that if the demands of the people is not met earlier, then the local residents will have to come to streets.
The DC listened to the demands of the deputation & assured to resolve their grievance within two days. Others who accompanied the deputation include Dina Nath Bhagat, Raj kumar Bucha, Jeevan Sharma, Adv Sunny Mahajan, Chuni Lal, Rattan Lal, Mohan Lal & many others.
