Multi-lingual literary meet organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Jan 27: In its weekly creative multilingual literary activities, Adbi Kunj organized a multi-dimensional literary meet at its literary centre, in New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, Jammu, which was presided over by a noted Kashmiri and Urdu poet from Sopore Dr Nizam-ud-in. Dr Bharat Bhushan Gupta conducted the meet. The meet started with the welcome address by Sham Talib, President of the organization, in his inaugural address paid tributes to freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chander Bose on his 114th birth anniversary . In the Prose session, an old age writer, Muni Lal Puri readout an Urdu satirical write up-Kamzor-Hakim, in which he threw light on the relationship between, Seyasi- person, Ministers and Public, another satirical Gojri short story Meri Mehbooba was presented by Ch. Mohammad Adrees Shad. K.L. Dewana presented a Hindi short story – Punar Janam in which he taught everyone for the (DHAN-KHERAT) donation and a special presentation of the session was a Dogri Translation of a Urdu short story Qahar Neele-Asman-Ka, of well known Urdu writer and poetess, Dr. Nighat Farooq Nazar, which was presented by Sham Talib. These were highly appreciated by the participants. The other poets of the session included Dr. Nizam-ud-din (Kashmiri Urdu), Dr. Bharat Bhushan Gupta (Urdu), Ch. Adrees Shad (Gojri) Sanjeev Kumar (Hindi) M.S. Kamra (Panjabi), Rajeev Kumar (Dogri), K.L. Dewana (Hindi), Ved Upal (Dogri), Prof. Ved Parkash Gupta (Hindi) com. Jaswant Singh (Urdu), Rajeshwar Bhakhari (Hindi) and Sham Talib (Urdu-Dogri). This was the 5th meet of the New Year 2011, the 4th meet of the year 2011 was a special condolence meet, to pay tributes to a young advocate of J&K High Court Akshay Anand son of Shyam Sunder Anand Lehar, an eminent Urdu short story writer of sub continent and senior Advocate of Supreme court of India, and chief patron of Adbi Kunj, J&K Jammu. The members of the organization prayed to almighty God for the peace to the departed soul. The meet was held under the chair of Sham Talib, president of the organization.
