| Rahul Gandhi meets students from Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan, 27: Rahul Gandhi met the students from (Pattan) Kashmir J&K, which were on the ‘SADBHAVANA’ Tour to Delhi and witnessed the Republic Day parade at Rajpath today.
Students anxiously cheered the tableau of Jammu and Kashmir and the team of Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry Regiment whose centre is located in Srinagar.
Aquib, a twelve year old student from Watargam when asked said, “I have never seen or imagined anything like this. Meeting Rahul uncle was a dream come true. In the Parade, besides the Bhand Pather folk dance of Jammu and Kashmir, I really liked the aircraft and motorcycle shows”.
The students got overawed by the spectacular performances by the Army men. The wonder inspiring Fly Past and the Motor Cycle Stunt team of Corps of Signals left them spell bound. The tour has been organised by 29 Rashtriya Rifles (GRENADIERS) under the guidance of Kilo Force.
