| UP government honours winners of Commonwealth and Asian games | | | Agencie
Lucknow, Jan 28 The Uttar Pradesh government today honoured 16 players of the state who brought laurels to the country by winning medals in the recently held Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. UP Chief Minister Mayawati presented a cash reward of Rs Rs 15 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 8 lakh to those players who won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively in the individual events, while Rs 10 lakh, Rs 8 lakh and 6 lakh for those players winning gold, silver and bronze in team events
