| Sukhnandan tours Marh constituency, reviews developmental works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 28: BJP MLA from Marh Assembly Constituency, Sukhnanadan visited Tarlokpur area and inaugurated the newly constructed compound wall and water tank to be used as Mahila Ghat,here today.
Constructed at the cost of Rs. 4 lakh, it will cater to the needs of women in particular during social rituals. On this occasion Ch. Sukhnandan said that the long pending demand of the women of this area has been fulfilled and it will indeed be useful.
He said that his constituency is spread over a large area having rural population where the developmental activities need to be taken on war-footing but unfortunately the limited funds under CDF are the major obstacle. He said still he is making all out afforts to ensure that each penny spent from the CDF is used honestly.
Ch. Sukhnandan also said that provision of drinking water, electricity, ration, health and educational institutions are the minimum necessities which each village or town requires and he is working with a goal of providing these amenities.
He further said that an amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh has been made available under Border Area Development Plan (BADP) for construction of boundary wall of a primary school situated in the same village and will be completed soon.
Prominent among those who were present on the ocassion included Harjeet Singh, Subash chander, Rajinder Singh, Sonu, Master Ram Lal, S. Inder Singh and beside others.
