| Bharat Nirman Campaign to begin on Feb19 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Jan 28: Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign being organized by PIB Srinagar in collaboration with District Administration, will begin at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Rajouri from February 19 to 21.
The decision to this effect was taken in a district administration level meeting under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Rajouri Ghulam Ahmad Khawaja. Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri M. H. Bhatti, PIB Srinagar Officers Ghulam Abbas & Tariq Rather besides various other District Sectoral officers, were present in the meeting.
In this connection separate meetings were held with different media heads at Jammu also. The meetings discussed media outreach strategy to reach out to the common people through mass media with activities related to the proposed PIC at Rajouri. PIB Officers also briefed the Rajouri based print and electronic media representatives about the Forth coming campaign. The Campaign covers flagship programmes of Central Govt which includes Bharat Nirman Rural Development schemes, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA), National Rural Health Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Mid-day Meal Scheme, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme and Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), PM’s New 15 Point Programme for Welfare of Minorities, RTI Act and other centrally sponsored schemes. The campaign would also cover informative programmes highlighting developmental activities of PSUs, NGOs and Voluntary Organisations in Rajouri. The campaign also involves active participation of all the media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
