| Ladakh Winter tourism promotion ice-hockey championship begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
LEH, Jan 28: The Second ‘Ladakh Winter Tourism promotion Ice-Hockey Championship’ began on at Leh. In the tournament five teams were participating. The most attractive part of the tournament is the participation of Canadian Embassy Team.
The Canadian Embassy Team today played against the local ‘Skara’ team in which the Canadian Embassy team showed extraordinary skill and athleticism. The Canadians eventually trounced the local Skaras team by three goals with the score line reads at 5-2.
Hundreds of spectators were present to cheer their team as well as guest team. People got impressed with the Canadian Embassy Team and fully supported them throughout the event. The Tournament is being organized by ‘Ladakh Winter Sports Club’.
