| Lawyers suspend work as Pak flag hoisted in Kathua | | | kathua, Jan 28: In protest against the hoisting of Pak flag on a building at Sawan Chak here, Bar Association, Kathua, today suspended work. The Pak flag had been fixed atop the building by some unknown persons, police sources said.
The lawyers struck work as mark of protest against the incident and held a demonstration.
They demanded a probe into the incident and action against the guilty.

Jammu, Jan 28: Police today arrested a man from his residence at Dhagani Morha Chakli in Chingus, Rajouri, for allegedly murdering his daughter-in-law Wednesday last.
The accused was identified as Deep Singh (52) and the victim as Lakshmi Devi, wife of Davinder Singh. Following reports about the mysterious death of Lakshmi at their residence at Dhagani Morha Chakli Wednesday, Chingus police post incharge went to the spot.
Police sources said the post incharge got suspicious on seeing the body which bore injury marks on throat, shoulders and the wrist. He took the body in custody and evacuated it to hospital. After post-mortem, it was handed over to her family members for last rites.
During the course of investigation, the post incharge found that she had allegedly been murdered by Deep Singh as she had refused to live with his son. Deep was then arrested and booked under section 302 of RPC.
