Police today seized a truck fully loaded with iron scrap was seized by the police here today.
According to reports on a specific information police party led by SHO Sat Paul Modi, intercepted a truck registered under No JKU-1475 coming from Srinagar to Jammu. During the checking police found iron scrap hidden under the sheets of card board. The scrap was being transported illegally.
A case has been registered against the two persons identified as Fiaz Ahmed S/o Abdul Rehman Drabu, R/o Banihal and Tanvir Ahmed S/o Ahmedullah R/o Chambar Vaas, Banihal, under Fir No 132/2006 u/s 379 RPC.
