| Two kg charas recovered | | |

About 2kgs of Charas hidden in a truck loaded with fruit boxes were recovered by the police here today.
As per source, police on a tip off and under the direction of SSP, Udhampur, Prithvi Raj Manhas laid a naka at Zakhani and recovered 2 kgs of charas from truck N. JK03-184 during checking by the police party led by SHO Jagdev Singh. According to source charas was hidden in a cabin of the truck.
Driver and conductor identified as Mohd Ashraf and Sajjad Ahmed of Bijbehra, Anantnag were arrested on spot. A case has been registered against both of them.
