Law students of city colleges form association | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 30: To highlight the problems which the students of various law colleges are facing in and around city, the students from various law colleges affiliated to University of Jammu formed Jammu Law Students Association (JLSA). Students of various law colleges of Jammu including The Law School, Dogra Law College, KC Law College came forward to join the association. JLSA is totally a non political association and will work exclusively for the welfare of the law students of city. The association highlighted various problems, the most important of which is that almost all the law colleges of India give a dual degree like BA, LL B after the completion of 5 years of integrated law course but in Jammu the law students are getting just a LL B degree after the completion of 5 years of integrated law course. JLSA also formed a Core Committee including members from different law colleges of Jammu. The members of the core committee include Nitin Parihar (President), Samreen Monga (vice-president), Tarun Sharma (vice-president) and Angad Kour Bijral (general secretary)
