JAC for KPs hold meet, put forth demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Jan 30: A meeting of Joint Action Committee for Kashmir migrants under the chairmanship of Bushan Lal Raina was held at Migrant Camp, Purkoo today. Addressing the members, Raina expressed concern over the delay in repairing the transformer heads despite the fact that Chief Engineer had assured the JAC delegation that the transformer leads would be replaced soon. He urged the PDD authorities to replace the leads at an earliest. He demanded scheduled power supply to the camp. Raina demanded allotment of flats to camp inmates on first priority as the primary purpose of the constitution of township as announced by the Prime Minister was to allot camp inmates two room sets. He requested Revenue authorities to shift the migrants living at Purkhoo III as the condition of these quarters has deteriorated and is badly affecting the camp inmates. Roshan Lal Raina, Member APEX Committee in his address demanded immediate advertisement of left over vacancies as per the Prime Minister package. He demanded enhancement of relief package for educated overaged youth. He requested KP leaders not to make provocative statements which shall harm youth appointed in Valley. Tika Lal Jee, S.N Bandan Shamsher Singh Yograj Sahib also spoke on the occasion.
