Jammu Jan 30: Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Joras today said spreading of message of peace to evolve a Global society based on mutual trust and faith for all world communities and nations is the only way to fight back perpetrators of violence.
The Minister was speaking at a seminar “Friendship with neighbouring countries- its need and necessity” organised by Gandhian Global Family state chapter, here at Dogra hall to mark the martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.
Deliberating on the subject, he said, the increased socio-economic dependence of the nations has made the world a global family and no country can survive in isolation. He said this new world order can be strengthened only by following the world recognised philosophy of the Father of Nation.
Paying rich tributes to Mahatma Ghandi, the father of Nation on his death anniversary, the Minister said that it was this great leader who secured freedom to India from British Rulers by adopting non-violence as a tool to fight with the oppressor.
Jora said that Bapu laid the foundation and made us see the glorious future of India. He said it by following his path that Indian can achieve new heights on economic and democratic front.
