NGAGA’s relay hunger strike enters 32 day

The relay hunger strike of Junior Agriculture Assistants (JAA), under the aegis of NGAGA, today entered into 32nd day at Krishi Bhawan. JAA’s from Samba sub-division today sat on the relay hunger strike. Meanwhile, it is reported that state government has finally decided to look into few demands but no official word has been made so far in this regard. Minister for Health and Medical Education, Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma is expected to visit the protesting JAA’s.
NGAGA is demanding the long-term stagnation of JAA along with change in their destination from JAA to AAO (Assistant Agriculture Officer). The association is also demanding transparent transfer policy, removal of parity in their pay and declaration of JAA’s post as quasi permanent.
