Tehreek-e-insaaf floated to fight for justice

JAMMU Jan 30: To chart out a common strategy, all the organizations such as Jammu Migrants Front, Terrorism Affected People's Front, Doda Migrants Front. Talwara Migrants Committee, Rajouri- Poonch Migrants Committee have unanimously decided to merge their organisations and decided to float a common organisation" Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jammu Province to fight for justice to all the militancy hit in Jammu Province.Their demands include constitution of a high level committee to assess the losses suffered by the militancy hit people of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Reasi, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch districts, special economic package be provided to these people and reservations be given to the wards in the educational institutions especially in professional colleges, all pending cases of SRO-43 should immediately be given relief without any further delay, SPOs be regularized who have played an important role in elimination of militancy from the state, aII migrant families be given compensation at par with Kashrniri migrants, fresh registration of all the migrated families of Jammu region and proper compensation to the families of those who killed in incidents of militancy.
Meanwhile, Mohd. Farooq Mir (ex-MLA) was elected as Chairman of the Tehreek-e Insaff, Sh. Bali Bhagat (ex-MLA) and Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Shah Bukhari as Vice-Chairmen, Mohd Aslam Kohli as president, Advocate Mukhtar Sheikh and Sunil Sharma as vice Presidents,Ashok Sharma (ex-MLA) as legal advisor, Mohd. Shafi Oar and Ravinder Raina as general secretaries, Lal Singh,Adv. Ahasan Mirza,Lal Man Singh and Sheer Singh as secretaries. Advocate Kamar-Jeet, Ishtaq Wani as spokesman, Narinder Singhjeet and Somraj as coordinators Later, they also charted programme to highlight their main demands which is as tehsil level protests in from Feb 6 to 13, protest at Raj-Bhawan on Feb 26, Assembly gherao and state-level conference in March .
