| 2 held with IMFL bottles at Lakhanpur | | | JAMMU: Two Punjab residents were today apprehended by excise department sleuths at Lakhanpur in Kathua along with 36 IMFL Black Commando bottles.
Official sources identified the accused as Sukhdev Singh (60) and Tarsem Lal (48), both residents of Thrayal Madhopur, Punjab. They were on their motorcycle (PB35K/4374) when the excise officials apprehended them along with 36 IMFL bottles, the sources added. They were later handed over to excise Inspector, sub-range, Kathua, for initiating action under law against them. Deputy excise commissioner, Lakhanpur toll post, has "hailed the team for the good work' done by it. |
