| Cop stabs youth at Rajbagh | | | JAMMU: An IRP cop today stabbed a youth at Rajbagh in Kathua after a verbal duel between them. Police sources said following heated exchanges between them, IRP cop Vijay Singh Bandral allegedly attacked Deepak Singh on his arm with a sharp-edged weapon and fled the spot.
Deepak was evacuated to the Kathua district hospital for treatment. Police had registered a case against Bandral, who had not been arrested till late tonight.
Meanwhile, Ashwani Kumar was beaten by two youth at Chhani Himmat here while he was going home in the locality. He was hospitalised.
