| Advanced management programme concludes at JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 31: Two day advanced management programme for academic administrators and college Principals organised by Academic Staff College and the Directorate of College development Council concluded here today.
Dr S S Billawaria, IAS, Former Chief Secretary J&K Government was Chief Guest during the Valedictory function. While speaking to the Academic Administrators on the topic" Administrative Skills" Dr Billowria emphasized need for better understanding of rules and procedures especially purchase procedures and codes. He also advised the participants on various administrative practices like calling for the receipt registrar once a week and checking it randomly.
Speaking on the occasion, Director CDC Prof Rajiv Gupta thanked higher education department for its cooperation and expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the two days workshop. He also announced that more such programmes shall be conducted shortly to streamline various issues of common interest between Colleges and the University Administration. Prof I V Malhan , Prof Sham Lal Gupta Director Colleges , Prof Miqbil Chistiand Dr Ranjeet Kalra also spoke on the occasion.
