| Introductory pre-Board meet held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JAN 31 – The first Introductory-cum-Pre Board meeting of the J&K State Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of OBCs was held today under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the Board, Kuldeep Raj Verma.
All the members from every district of the state attended the meeting. The Secretary of the Board, Basharat Hussain gave the brief introduction, background and functioning of the Board.
Kuldeep Raj Verma informed the House that he has already taken up the main demands. These demands are under active consideration of the government. He further assured the House that other issues raised in the meeting will also be taken up with the government for the early redressal. He also thanked the Members for attending the meeting and for giving their valuable suggestions for the upliftment of OBCs.
Those who attended the meeting were Muni Lal Badan, Om Dalmotra, Mukhtar Kalia, Mohd. Yaqoob Dar, Mohd. Shafi Sheikh, Jeet Singh Sangotra, Barkat Hussain, Vijay Kr. Manhas, Abdul Majid, Bashir Ahmed Teli, Santokh Singh Gujral, Mohd. Ramzan Shaksaz, Mohd. Ayoub Bhat, Mustaq Ahmed Teli, Kavi Raj, Bua Ditta, Ramesh Kumar, Bashir Ahmed Salona, Rajnder Kr. Chanyal, Ayudhaya Kr. Manawa, Sain Dass, Shiraz Azhari, Mtr. Shamima Sopari and Shamima Rehman.
