| J&K Bank ATM, computers burnt at Bhaderwah | | | JAMMU: A J&K Bank ATM and computers were gutted in a fire at Bhaderwah early this morning.
Estimated loss was put at lakhs of rupees, official sources said. Sources said fire broke out in the J&K Bank ATM computer in Bhaderwah town early in the morning and soon engulfed two computers and a printer of the adjoining branch. The electric wiring was also damaged, the sources added.
Fire tenders were later pressed into service and the fire was extinguished.
Electric short-circuit was said to be the reason behind the incident. Police had registered a case in this connection. |
