| Madhav Lal takes over as new CS | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: Madhav Lal took over the charge as Chief Secretary of the State this afternoon. His predecessor S. S. Kapoor shook hands with new Chief Secretary and presented bouquet to him.
Madhav Lal an IAS officer of 1977 batch J&K Cadre has served the State in different capacities earlier in the State. Before his appointment as Chief Secretary of the State, he was in the union government as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, B.B. Vyas, Principal Secretary, Home B.R. Sharma, Principal Secretary, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control A.K. Angurana, Commissioner/Secretary, GAD Mohammad Sayeed Khan, Commissioner/Secretary, Finance, Sudhanshu Pandy, Director Information, Khwaja Farooq Renzushah and other senior officers of General Administration Department were also present on the occasion. They welcomed the new Chief Secretary and wished him all the best. |
