| Dance, theatrical events held at “Display Your Talent” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 1: The final phase of the “Display Your Talent”2010-11 comprising of dance and theatrical events commenced with the Classical Dance (Solo) here at the Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Prof. Kuldeep K Sharma, director, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, was the Chief Guest on this occasion and inaugurated the contest by lighting the ceremonial lamp. It may be mentioned here that the Inter-Collegiate/Departmental extravaganza is an annual feature of the Department.
Bhawana Sharma and Shivani Bali both from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu, bagged the first and second prize, respectively whereas Rupali Gupta from Govt. Women College, Parade, bagged the third prize.
The certificate of merit was awarded to Priyanka Jain from Govt. WomenCollege, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
V N Kolhi, Jagriti Sharma and Shilpa Kotwal, were the adjudicators for this event. Suvidha Khanna, teacher incharge apprised the participants about the rules and regulations of the event and Shafali Gupta, Joint Secretary, Students Cultural Council, compered the programme. N.K. Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, distributed prizes amongst the winners. Among others Versha Mehta, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee, Jasbir Singh, Co-Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, Sanjay Sharma,
Parmeshwari Sharma, Anupuma Vohra, Gagandeep Sharma, secretary Students Cultural Council and Madhvi Sharma, were also presented on this occasion.
