| ADGP Armed compliments Handoo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 1: Additional Director General of J&K Armed Police, K Rajendra today appreciated the achievement of Inspector Kuldeep Handoo, who has been conferred with State Sports Award by the government on Republic Day for outstanding contributions in the field.
The ADGP was delighted to find officers from the force distinguishing themselves in the field of sports and being selected for state’s highest sports awards.
Kuldeep was accompanied by Sports Officer of the J&K Police, Jameel Anjum Mir.
In the meantime, Director General of J&K Police, Kuldeep Khoda also congratulated Inspector Handoo for the coveted State Award.
About Kuldeep Handoo: A consecutive 11 times national champion and five times international medalist in Wushu, Kuldeep is presently coach of the Indian team. He has to his credit 30 medals at the international level as coach. Recently, he accompanied the national team as a coach in the 16th Asian Games in China and helped India win silver and bronze medals. He has been selected for the 3rd PARAS Cup to be held in Iran from March two to March six.
