Non-gazetted forest officers extend support to JCC protest call | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Feb 1 : All J&K Non Gazetted Forest Officers Association held a meeting in its office chamber at Forest Complex in which the participants supported the protest announced by the Joint Consultative Committee regarding release of arrears of 6th Pay Commission. In the meeting, it was stated that despite the Cabinet Sub-Committee agreement in principal for redressal of State government/PSU employees demands stipulated within a period with representative of Joint Consultative Committee, the anomaly in the pay scales of Clerical Cadre and other Cadres still existed. The regularization orders of Adhoc/ Contractuals/ Consolidated/Daily Rated workers need base employees have not been issued so far. The retirement age from 58 to 60 years has also not been enhanced, Cola into DA not given to all the PSU employees, they further added. The association members alleged that government was playing delaying tactics with employees for not conceding the genuine demands of the employees and compelling the employees to come out on roads. The protest call has been given by the Joint Consultative Committee for February 21. In the meeting, Ravi Kumar, Rajesh Bakshi, B.S Jasrotia, R.D Singh, Ajit Raj, Surjit Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Sukhbir Singh, R.S Jasrotia, Sham Singh, Jaswant Singh, Mumtaz Khan and Zaffar Ullah State President were present.
