| New Light Hr Sec School celebrates annual day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Feb 1: The New Light Higher Secondary School Balode celebrated its Annual day by organizing a colourful function today. On the occasion, the students of the school presented patriotic songs, skits and folk songs depicting the culture of the state.
MLA Samba Yash Paul Kundal was the chief guest while, DDC Samba Mubarak Singh was the guest of honour on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion, the DDC appreciated the role of private schools in promoting the education and adding to the literacy rate of District Samba. He impressed upon the management to organize multifarious activities alongwith educational curriculum so as to ensure all round development of the students. MLA Samba also conveyed his appreciation to the management for giving quality education to the children of the backward area.
