National Legal Services Day was observed in the Court complex here today under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Mr. S.K. Jamwal (Principal District and Sessions Judge.
Sub-Judge Y.P.Kotwal, members of Bar Association several litigants and a large number of people participated in the celebration.
Speakers highlighted the aims and objectives of legal aid scheme under the State Legal Service Authority Act. 1997.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman called upon the general public to make maximum use of the legal aid scheme and said that under the scheme poor and down trodden people has been benefited in the district.
Sub-Judge Y.P.Kotwal, Bar President Mr. N.P.Khajuria also spoke on the occasion.
