Rahat, who belongs to Jammu province has directed a couple of Bollywood films and now intends to showcase Jammu’s rich culture and heritage through the backdrop of Pahari and Dogri fusion and is launching a new venture. “ The film would be made in Hindi and would have top Bollywood celebrities into it while we intend to rope in local talent too in the venture that would be a complete feature film desired to be opened at national as well as international forum,” said Rahat while addressing the media. He said that Dogri or Pahari movies made in Jammu remain confined to Jammu for its rural showcasing only. “My film would be a complete Bollywood make which would have Jammu and its rich culture in the backdrop,” said Rahat. Based on the short story of Leo Tolstoy’s “a spark neglected burns the house’, Rahat said that the film would run on its basic ideas and develop a storyline identified with petty problems related to human nature that turn into bigger conflicts.
