A mobile thief involved in snatching mobiles and cash from a lady traveling in auto rickshaw was arrested by the police today.
According to reports a complaint was lodged at police post, Chowk Chabootra by the lady about the snatching of two mobiles and Rs. 3,000 by a thief kept in a purse. Police party led by Chowki In charge Karma Chalotra under the supervision of S.D.P.O City Ashok Sharma laid a trip and apprehended one Chottu S/o Sita Ram of Sarwal. During interrogation police recovered two stolen mobiles and cash from him. A case u/s 379 RPC under FIR No 167/2006 has been registered against the thief. As per reports the arrested person is involved in number of thefts in the City and is assisted by others who help him in the crime.
