| Promotion of golf tourism in Jammu our commitment: Jora | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 3: Minister for Tourism Nawang Rigzin Jora today chaired a high level meeting to discuss modalities for creation of requisite infrastructure at 18 hole golf course coming up at Sidhra here.
Minister of State for Tourism and Culture, Nasir Aslam Wani was present at the meeting. Threadbare discussion was held on the issues regarding creation of facilities at the Golf Course as per the universal standards. Meeting decided that a detailed project report would be formulated for the construction of necessary infrastructure.
Meeting unanimously decided that a Club building, Administrative block and other relevant infrastructure would be constructed at the site for the convenience of the sportsmen and management of the Golf Course. Commissioner /Secretary Tourism, Atal Duloo, Director Tourism Jammu, R. K. Verma, Joint Development Commissioner works Hamal, Financial Advisor Tourism Department, Executive Engineer tourism department Jammu and other senior officers attended the meeting.
