Rich tributes paid to Modi

JAMMU, Feb 3: Rich tributes were paid to senior leader of BJP from Udhampur Jia Lal Modi who left for heavenly abode recently.
In a press note issued here today, it has been stated that a function was held at Ashoka Palace. BJP State Vice-President Pawan Gupta, Legislative Party Leader Chaman Lal Gupta were also present on the occasion. While paying tributes to the veteran leader, Pawan Gupta said that whole life of Jia Lal Modi is a source of inspiration for the young party activists,
Chaman Lal Gupta further added that his determination to work for public at large is evident from the fact that he even resigned from the post of government teacher just to serve people and the society. Gupta said that Modi remained the BJP City President for a number of years and worked with dedication for strengthening party at the grass-root level.
Others who were present included Om Parkash kasata, Dina nath Bhagat, Raj Kumar Bucha, Suraj Gupta, Pawan khajuria, Ashok Jagotra, Ashok Sehgal and Ramanand Baria.
