| KVIC exhibition begins at Kala Kendra | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 3: State level Khadi Gramudyog exhibition organised by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in association with Khadi Gram Mandal (KGM) Jammu began at Kala Kendra here today.
Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma inaugurated the exhibition while as Chairperson Ved Ghai, State Director, KVIC B. R. Chauhan, Secretary/Organiser, Khadi Gram Mandal, Jammu Subash Chander Chairman Khadi Federation P. L. Joshi, Director MSME GOI Virender Sharma and other senior officers of concerned department were present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, Sharma said that government of India has been liberally funding the State for providing financial assistance to entrepreneurs for setting up of income generating units. He said that KVIC is doing yeoman service in helping people to set up their units thus solving unemployment crises to some extent. MP also went round various stalls, set up by various entrepreneurs on the occasion.
