| Mayfair student brings laurels to school | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 3: A function was organized in the May Fair Higher Secondary School Chand Nagar to honor Mehak Chethri, a class III student of the school who brought laurels to the institution by participating in National School Games 2010-11 held recently in Thane, Maharashtra.
Mehak participated in Girls Gymnastic under 14 category and finished third.
She had earlier also been participating in different sports competitions, championships and won a number of medals and trophies.
While addressing the students Vijay Basu chairman, Managing Committee, May Fair praised the achievement made by Mehak and laid stress on the importance of Games and sports for all round development of the child and stressed upon other students to take part in extra curricular activities.
