JAMMU, Feb 03: Minister for Revenue and Relief, Raman Bhalla today declared open the 7th State Wushu Championship, organised by J&K Wushu Association at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here.
Inspector General of J&K Police (Headquarters), S Owais and IG Traffic, H K Lohia as also Director General DYSS were guests of honour in the inaugural function held this morning.
About 650 boys and girls shall compete in different weight categories in this three-day competition. On the opening day, competition in sub-junior age group and cadet took place.
Meanwhile, the chief guest felicitated general secretary of the Association, Kuldeep Handoo for being conferred State Sports Award.
