| Search launched at Tral after militant attacks | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
srinagar Feb 3: Security forces have launched massive search operations in Dobiwan and Dadsar areas of Tral after militant attacks on them last night. Official sources said militants last night attacked security personnel in Dobiwan and Dadsar areas of Tral in Pulwama.
The security personnel retaliated. The militants, however, managed to escape after brief exchange of fire at both the places. No one from either side was wounded, the sources added.
Reinforcements were rushed to both the villages from nearby camps. Sources said because of snowfall in the upper reaches and drop in temperature, militants hiding in the woods, had moved to plains. A massive hunt was on at both the places to nab the escaped militants. |
