| Alleged police torture victim hospitalised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Feb 3: In another alleged case of police torture, a youth was today admitted to the GMC hospital here with severe injuries.
Pal Singh told media persons that his son Binni was lifted by Narwal police from their residence at Reshamghar here and subjected to physical torture.
He was picked up by police allegedly at the instance of a DSP, he added.
Bibbi, who had a criminal record, was today admitted by police to the GMC hospital in an unconscious condition.
He urged the government to intervene and do justice in the case.
When contacted, a senior police officer said Binni was picked up for his alleged involvement in some theft cases. |
